ACQI are pleased to announce their 2023 Symposium and Workshop will be held on November 20, 2023, in the Harry Perkins Institute for Medical Research in Perth, Western Australia. Links to register below.
Symposium: The Australian Centre for Quantitative Imaging (ACQI) research symposium will showcase research conducted in WA in the field of medical imaging analytics, spanning clinical and pre-clinical research through to clinical translation and commercialisation. Conference attendees will be treated to a host of high-quality presentations, including from guest interstate speaker Dr Ryan Sullivan from the Australian Imaging Service, in this two-part symposium demonstrating cutting-edge medical imaging applications in both the research and clinical space. A catered morning tea will be provided between the two sessions, with lunch at the end.
Workshop: This 2-hour seminar will provide an introduction to understanding the ins and outs of deep neural networks and how they can be constructed, trained, and tested for the purposes of automatic segmentation. This introductory section of the workshop will be followed by presentations on research and clinical applications of automatic segmentation networks, covering deployment of both public and private solutions. Minimal prior knowledge will be assumed, so attendees need not be experts to gain something from the workshop. For anyone interested in understanding where artificial intelligence will first impact the clinical space, then this workshop is for you!
