ACQI is a product of a collaboration between clinicians, researchers and policy makers

ACQI is founded in Perth, Western Australia, stemming from collaboration between clinicians, researchers and policy makers at Western Australian health, research and university facilities.

ACQI PARTNERS

Groups and individuals interested in becoming Partners with ACQI are requested to submit an expression of interest via the Contact page. We are seeking expressions of interest from:

  • Stakeholding partners
  • Funding and in-kind supporters
  • Researchers interested in using imaging analytics
  • Researchers interested in offering imaging analytics expertise
  • Partners who can offer governance support

ACQI DEVELOPMENT

STAGE 1

  • Engagement of stakeholders (ongoing)
  • Establish a suite of funded projects (completed)
  • Link with local allied efforts (the WA NIF node)
  • Establish data infrastructure networks (ongoing – ACQI is associated with the ARDC-supported Australian Imaging Service)
  • Establish development team (completed)
  • Establish international linkage (completed – ACQI is a node of the Networks of Imaging Excellence)

STAGE 2

  • Broad support for researchers
  • Creation of a physical “centre”
  • Creation of generic governance/ethics principles
  • Funding and commencement of centre staff (Manager, computing support, expertise, analytics staff)

STAGE 3

  • Expanded funding support
  • Development of training/education materials and processes
  • Creation of a secure data environment
  • Embedding of innovation (manufacturers, software developers)
